Following a promising first edition launched in March 2026, Boost4CircularityCircularity describes the quantity of materials managed in a closed loop. is back for round two! The momentum is already well underway: seven winning projects were selected during the first edition and are currently embarking on their strategic support programme alongside Circular Wallonia.
Now, new project leaders have the opportunity to benefit from this support.
What Is Boost4Circularity?
Boost4Circularity is a support scheme designed to support the implementation of transformative industrial projects serving the circular economyThe circular economy is a restorative and regenerative economy. By maintaining the value of the products, materials and resources in the economy through smart product design, repurposing and/or shared use of products, it reduces the extraction of natural resources by using resources already present in the economy..
The call for proposals targets large-scale projects capable of driving lasting transformation across a sector or region: supply, processing, logistics, end-use, and end-of-life. It focuses on projects that strengthen industrial circularity by:
creating or consolidating key links (material preparation, reconditioning, regeneration, pooling of material flows, secondary material hubs, etc.)
improving the overall performance and resilience of a sector
Why Apply?
Selected projects will benefit from a needs analysis carried out by the Circular Wallonia 2.0 Coordination Unit. This analysis will help direct each project leader towards the appropriate Walloon support schemes (support, training, R&D&I, internationalisation, digitalisation, etc.). Please note, that this process does not constitute a direct funding mechanism.
Who Can Apply?
The call is open to:
a single company submitting a project independently
a consortium, led by a company, which may partner with various types of organisations: companies, non-profit organisations, research centres, public bodies, etc. These partners may be based outside Wallonia.
The lead company must, however, have its operational headquarters in Wallonia.
