The Ideas Powered for Business fund for small and medium enterprises (SMESmall and medium-sized enterprisess) is a subsidy programme designed to improve access to intellectual property rights for SMEs established in the European Union.
You can receive subsidies for:
- a trademark and design application.
- patents
What could you receive?
For a trademark and design application:
- 75% reimbursement of trademark and design fees at national, regional and EU level
- 50% reimbursement of trademark and design fees outside the EU
- The maximum reimbursement for this service is 1,000 euros. The level of protection you choose (national, regional, EU, or international) will depend on your business strategy and your growth plans.
For patents:
- 75% reimbursement of the fees for a "Prior Art Search Report"
- 75% reimbursement of patent pre-grant
- 75% reimbursement of filing and search fees for European patents filed at EPO (European Patent Office)

Apply for cheques from the SME fund from 22 January to 6 December 2024.
