PME Green Challenge 2026: Accelerate Your Sustainable Transition

Between April and June 2026, Wallonie Entreprendre is organising a new edition of the SME Green Challenge (official : PME Green Challenge), a free programme for Walloon industrial companies wishing to accelerate their energy and circular transition. The programme features several thematic days, peer-to-peer exchanges and guidance from experts to help SMEs tackle their challenges.

A Programme to Embed Circularity at the Heart of Your Strategy

The energy and circular transition is no longer just an advantage: it has become essential for strengthening business resilience in the face of evolving regulations, price fluctuations and growing expectations regarding environmental impact.

The PME Green Challenge guides participants through this transformation with a series of thematic sessions led by qualified experts, and includes several opportunities for exchange, such as a launch evening and a closing evening bringing together participants from different editions.

The 2026 programme offers a structured pathway over several weeks, including:

  • A day on strategic vision and renewable energy
  • A day on energy efficiencyEfficiency is focused on the productivity of resources, i.e. in an improvement in the relationship between the natural resources used and the benefit they provide in the form of a product manufactured or a service provided. in buildings and processes
  • A day on mobility, logistics and water
  • A day on circular economyThe circular economy is a restorative and regenerative economy. By maintaining the value of the products, materials and resources in the economy through smart product design, repurposing and/or shared use of products, it reduces the extraction of natural resources by using resources already present in the economy., financing and communication

This programme goes beyond knowledge sharing: it enables companies to identify their own levers for action, exchange best practices and integrate circularityCircularity describes the quantity of materials managed in a closed loop. into their strategic decision-making.

Who Can Take Part?

The PME Green Challenge is open to companies that:

  • are located in Wallonia;
  • have existed for more than 3 years;
  • employ at least 15 FTE;
  • have an industrial or production process.
