By maintaining the value of the products, materials and resources in the economy through smart product design, repurposing and/or shared use of products, it reduces the extraction of natural resources by using resources already present in the economy., sustainability, healthcare, or digitalisation? The Crossroads call for projects helps you in turning this innovation into reality. If your project is selected, you will receive guidance to test, develop, and commercialise your solution.
Support for Sustainable and Circular Innovations
CrossRoads promotes cross-border cooperation between SMEs in order to accelerate the development of circular and sustainable innovations. Selected projects may receive funding covering up to 50% of the total project cost, capped at 250,000 euros.
Your project must focus on a product, service, or process innovation that is ready to be optimised for market launch.
The maximum project duration is two years.
Who Can Apply?
The call is open to SMEs located in the following regions:
- Wallonia: the provinces of Hainaut, Namur and Luxembourg
- Flanders: the provinces of East-Flanders and West Flanders
- France: Marne and Ardennes departments (regions of Hauts-de-France and Grand Est)
Each project team must include at least one Belgian and one French SME. Participating companies must not be in financial difficulty.

Applications must be submitted by 30 April 2026 at 12:00 p.m. by sending a complete application file via email.
